Women Prefer Mobile Phones to Boyfriends

Women Prefer Mobile Phones to Boyfriends A recent research study by online pawnbroker borro.com has revealed that women hold their mobile phones very dear to them, often treasuring them above their boyfriends.

Indeed, boyfriends appear to be of so little value to many women that the majority of respondents would consider dumping them in favour of gaining £700,000!

In total, 4000 women were interviewed, 40 per cent of whom said they would be “devastated” if they lost their mobile phones. At the same time, a third declared that they could live happily without a man in their lives. But at least they prefer them to their slippers which is the last item on the list!

Apart from mobiles, top priorities for the women were their mothers, best friends and photographs. Boyfriends came fifth in the list, ranked just above diamond rings, pets, laptops and hair straighteners. However, mobile phones were number three on the womens’ lists, after their mums and their photographs. Even best friends were secondary to the all-important mobile according to the Daily Mail.

CEO of borro.com Paul Aitken said: “The list certainly threw up some surprises with boyfriends featuring below photos and mobile phones.” He added that “a mobile phone keeps women connected and is always by their side.”

Mr Aitken added: “Diamond rings represent 70 per cent of the loans we give to women so we are not surprised to see them right at the top of the list alongside mothers and boyfriends, that have a high emotional value but zero material value.”

I'm a 27yr old male, x-army, who lives on the famiy property,and the boys of today are weak and pathetic, men today are either gay or their gay blokes who are attracted to women, i feel sorry for the women of today who look for a strong honest reliable bloke thats not a metrosexual, so of course girls turn to mobile phones becouse there is no men left there all pussy

Maybe the humble mobile phone deals with some 'needs' that a boyfriend cannot... like phoning for pizza.
