T-Mobile are Mobile Broadband Consumers’ Favourite
T-Mobile is trumpeting its horn, saying that its mobile broadband service has topped more categories than any other mobile network operator in an independent YouGov survey of 2,083 mobile broadband users.
The latest YouGov Dongle Tracker Report reveals T-Mobile’s mobile broadband is the most favoured by consumers. This means that T-Mobile’s investment into that area has paid off.
Other areas the survey found in which T-Mobile excelled included getting connected, ease of use and installation and billing. The company was ranked joint first for customer services.
T-Mobile has performed well in all YouGov’s mobile broadband reports in the past. The reports focus on the largest independent sample of mobile broadband users to be surveyed in the UK.
Richard Warmsley, head of internet and entertainment for T-Mobile UK, commented: “Coming top in two consecutive rounds of YouGov research shows that customers recognise and value T-Mobile’s range of simple plans, attention to customer care and the reassurance that no matter how often they access the internet, they will never pay more than their monthly flat rate.”
T-Mobile are the most consistent operator over the four waves of research which began in June 2008, according to YouGov. Their good track record led to T-Mobile placing second overall in both the June and October 2008 Dongle Tracker reports.
With the lastest report conducted last month (April 2009), the survey explores consumers’ use of mobile broadband. T-Mobile came first in six out of 13 customer satisfaction metrics, following on its number one ranking in the YouGov Dongle Tracker report conducted in January.
