Samsung Diva Mobile Struts Onto the Market The new Samsung S7070 is a stylish phone and is set to appeal to the feminine market.

This new offering comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, and its uniqueness comes from the highly fashionable design.

The phone comes equipped with a microSD memory card slot, which gives it the capacity to support up to 8GB more storage space. The camera is 3.2-megapixels and it can provide a number of art effects.

Social networking capabilities are included, and it comes with a Wish List application targeted at the female market. The centre key is diamond shaped, which, according to the softpedia website, is designed “to induce the idea of luxury”. There are three home screens making it easier to navigate.

The Samsung S7070 uses the company’s popular TouchWiz user interface. It also has DNSe and a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery. This delivers as much as 10 hours talk time or as much as 800 hours standby time.

Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP is incorporated, as is microUSB 2.0, GSM 900/1800/1900 connectivity options. There is a FM radio with RDS, and the measurements of the new handset come in at 101 x 54.8 x 13.4 mm with a weight of 94g.

A number of companies are offering the new phone with incentives, maybe to catch the Mother's Day stampede. The Carphone Warehouse is offering a limited number of gift bags Benefit, and O2 has a 12-month subscription to iSUBSCRIBE for the first 8000 buyers. The phone itself is available in either black or white.
