Ribbit Gathers All Users Communication in One Place
Ribbit Mobile has now launched a new exciting service for mobile phone users that allows them to gather all their communications in one convenient suite, reports ITProportal.com.
Ribbit is the Internet telephony company that was bought by BT in 2008. Yesterday BT announced that Ribbit Mobile will be introduced as a free beta trial early in 2010.
With the ground-breaking new facility, mobile phone users are enabled to keep together multiple phone numbers, as well as route calls to other phones, receive transcribed voicemails and make calls using the Internet.
Mobile phone users are not even required to have a new handset, phone number or a software download as the new facility is aimed at Google Voice and similar initiatives. Furthermore Ribbit can be activated within the space of five minutes on any mobile phone.
Voicemails can be transcribed into text messages by either email or SMS. This means that mobile phone users will no longer have to dial 123 to access voicemails, which is a cumbersome process.
The new service from Ribbit is billed as a personal customer relationship management service (CRM) as it does its best to make life much easier for their mobile phone customers.
With Internet access, users will also have the facility of an online message box to store together and manage all their messages. They will be able to see callers’ messages from all sources including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn simultaneously while receiving a call.
Another great offering from Ribbit is an online backup service for mobile users who have perhaps lost or broken their phone or for some reason are unable to access mobile services.
