New Mobile Phone Launched For Social Networking
The Daily Telegraph has reported on a new mobile phone which introduces a clever way of staying socially connected: the INQ Chat.
The INQ Chat mobile phone allows you to access social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook with ease, thanks to its QWERTY keypad. Staying in touch has never been so much fun, either, as the phone also features a 3.2-megapixel camera, built-in GPS and a large 4GB of memory. The phone allows you to download photos, music and internet data quickly and to store what you wish to on its memory.
It is the in-built technology that really makes the INQ Chat mobile phone stand out from its competitors, such as the iPhone, though. The handset allows you to have your social network sites running at all times in the background, which means you can see updates and messages from friends and family as they are sent. Plus, with Skype as standard on the mobile phone, users can call other Skype users for free.
Chief executive of INQ, Frank Meehan said: “We build phones that focus specifically on what people want to do most on their mobiles. We have completely broken the vice-like grip that high-end smartphones have had on great mobile internet experiences, and made them available to everybody.”
It is anticipated that the new INQ Chat mobile will be available from September and, to begin with at least, will be sold solely on the 3 network. Prices are yet to be confirmed although it has been revealed that data downloads will be unlimited, so users can be as socially active on their mobile phone as they wish.
