Create your own iPhone car radio

Create your own iPhone car radio Many more drivers will be listening to their iPhone music on their car radio - thanks to an innovative new gadget.

Griffin Technology's updated new iTrip transmits your iPhone's music directly to an open FM frequency on your motor's FM stereo so you can play your tunes through your car stereo speakers.

The control unit works by plugging directly into the 12V power port of a car and scanning the radio to find the three best FM frequencies through which to play tracks, before saving them automatically to three programmable presets for easy recall.

While tracks are playing, song details can be displayed on the car radio display, with the control unit offering buttons to let music fans play, pause or skip tracks and control volume with ease.

If you want to know how charged your phone is then you only need to look at the iTrip's light ring, which will change colour according to the device's charging status.

Car drivers can choose to buy a black or a white iTrip.
