Android Phone From Huawei

Android Phone From Huawei The company may not be the best known in the marketplace but Huawei has announced the launch of two new handsets, one for Android and the other for Windows Mobile.

They were announced at CommunicAsia 2009 and are specifically aimed at the European market for some time later this year. The Huawei U8230 is Android-based and sports an impressive 3.5inch touchscreen. The resolution is as yet unavailable but it does feature 3.2-megapixel camera.

An onscreen QWERTY keyboard is included in this smartphone which enables users to switch between a half or full QWERTY keyboard. A number of Google apps are incorporated, such as Google Search, Google Map, and Google Talk and a 1,500 mAh battery.

The C8000 is Windows-based and features a smaller 2.8in screen and a 3D menu graphic user interface (GUI). It boasts an independent display adapter, which according to the press release from Huawei, enables “smooth presentation of video files and DVD-quality pictures on a 2.8-inch touch screen.” It offers an optimal power management capacity, and has the ability to play video files for up to eight hours solidly.

The U8230 and the C8000 handsets on display here at CommunicAsia take the interactivity experience of smartphones to a whole new level and Huawei is looking forward to working with our customers to bring them to market later this year.”
